Components 1

Before we turn to circuits and solutions, you need a foundation. You must understand the components used in power electronics circuits. In this chapter you will get to know the inductor, the capacitor and the switch in more detail. Later in the tutorial there will be a second chapter on components in which we look more closely at specific important properties. However, you will only understand these properties after the basic circuits. That is why in the first chapter we look at the components only superficially.
