Charging a Storage Element
Electrical energy stores are generally used at points in circuits where not enough separated charge is available at short notice. These are points in circuits that do not have “easy” access to sources. In practice, there is therefore often a resistor between a store and a source from which the store can be recharged. Charging a store via a resistor is investigated in this chapter.
Students of the ISD degree programme skip this chapter; it is not relevant to their exam.
